How we use
your data

This page explains what data EHD keeps when you fill in a form on this site, what it uses it for and for how long.

What stays in your browser

In the B2B assessment and the company application, your choices are saved in this browser for up to seven days so you can continue later. Contact details and any text you write are kept only in the page's memory: if you close or reload the page, you will need to enter them again. In the B2B assessment, your answers and contact details are only sent when you press the button to submit the request and see the report. In the other forms, the data is sent when you confirm the request or the application.

Contact requests

EHD keeps your contact details, your answers, the request code and the date, so that it can reply and follow up. For requests made through a shop, the shop and campaign identification travel with your contact details and determine who the request is forwarded to.

Home planner

Your choices about the home are saved on this device for up to 30 days. Your name, phone number, email, postcode and notes are only sent when you press the button to send the request and see the assessment. EHD keeps the configuration, the suggestions shown and, where applicable, the referring shop, so that it can reply and follow up the request. This form does not sign you up for marketing communications. Until you send it, your contact details stay only in the page's memory. During the session, we keep a temporary technical reference so that sending twice does not create a second request.

Solar simulation and bills

When you calculate the simulation, we send your consumption, region, postcode and home details to our server. The simulation is stored encrypted for up to 48 hours and deleted during regular clean-ups. To estimate production, we use a representative point in your region: we send only that approximate location and technical data to the PVGIS service. Your contact details and your bill are not sent to that service.

Your name, phone number, email, notes and bill, if you attach it, are sent when you send the request. The bill is stored encrypted, outside the public part of the site, and only the authorised team can open it, after passing a security check. If you stop partway through sending, a bill with no linked request is deleted in the clean-up of temporary data. Submitted requests, the simulation and attachments stay in the sales file for follow-up. We do not read the bill automatically. Consent to advertising is a separate, optional choice. The solar form data is not stored permanently in the browser.

When a solar QR code is set up to send the request to a shop, the shop's name appears before you send. If you confirm that sharing, EHD prepares a draft proposal. Once the team has reviewed and approved the equipment, prices and terms, the PDF proposal and a summary of the request are sent to your email and, separately, to the representative linked to that QR code. With some QR codes, the estimate goes only to the shop; the form tells you before you send. None of these emails goes out before approval, except for QR codes with automatic sending: with those, the estimate is sent as soon as the simulation passes its checks, and the form also tells you before you send. Your electricity bill is not attached to or shared in these emails. We keep the shop, the version of the text you accepted, the date of confirmation and the delivery status. Without your confirmation, we do not send any data to the shop. Messages already delivered may remain in the recipients' mailboxes; for requests about those copies, contact EHD and the shop named.

Meta advertising in the solar journey

Requesting a proposal does not oblige you to accept advertising. The optional consent identifies EHDev, Lda. and explains that your email and phone number may be used to build advertising audiences on Facebook and Instagram, including lookalike audiences. We keep your choice, the version of the text shown and the date. You can withdraw this consent through EHD's contact details, and the withdrawal is recorded. At the moment, the connection to Meta is switched off: we do not load the Pixel or send data to advertising audiences.

If you reach the site through an ad, the permitted campaign identifiers in the page address may travel with your request. We do not send bills, notes or detailed answers for advertising. The origin of a valid QR code is stored separately from the last ad indicated. We do not use this data to claim that we have identified the same person on different devices.

B2B trade requests

In the trade catalogue, the browser keeps only the product codes and quantities in your basket. Your company details, contact, delivery destination and notes are sent when you confirm the request. EHD keeps the request for review and sales follow-up, keeps a copy in a private Excel file and, after internal approval, may prepare a draft in Moloni, its invoicing software. The contact details from the B2B form are not stored permanently in the browser.

The campaign reference only identifies where the request came from. It gives no access to customer data and does not confirm any commercial terms. The team accesses requests through temporary sessions, and only authorised people have access.

Started requests and confirmation emails

When you start a solar simulation or a B2B assessment, we keep for up to 14 days a random reference, the step you are on and the dates you started and were last active. This reference includes no answers or contact details. If you send the request, the reference is linked to it so that we know which route you came through. A step with no recent activity does not mean you have given up.

When the email service is available, we try to send you a confirmation email with a summary of your request. You can save the summary on the site whether or not the email arrives. This email concerns only your request and does not sign you up for marketing communications.

Site visits

We count how many times each public page is opened, per page and per day, and keep these counts for up to 365 days. Every opening counts, including repeat visits and automated access. These counts do not identify anyone.

Marketing communications

Receiving news is optional and has its own checkbox in the forms. To stop receiving it, write to geral@ehdev.eu.

Documents and email

In the company application, if you mention a PDF catalogue, we keep only the file name. The document is not uploaded or sent through the form: you can attach it to an email with the request code. The email buttons open a message in your email program, which you can review before sending.

Links and QR codes

When you open a QR code, we record the campaign and the date. A signed reference, valid for 24 hours and kept for the session, links the start of the questionnaire and the request sent to that campaign. We count openings and first interactions without identifying anyone, and these campaign records include no answers. Temporary solar simulations follow the period stated above. We do not store the IP address or device data in campaign records. The authorised team has access to the answers sent, in order to follow them up, and access and changes are logged.

Data on your device

Press “Start over” to delete the answers saved on this device. The shop identification is kept for the session, to preserve where the request came from. If you use a shared device, clear the site data when you have finished.

Contact about your data

To request access to, correction or deletion of the data you sent, write to EHDev, Lda. at geral@ehdev.eu and give the request code if you have it.
